Hi. I’m responding from your Youtube message in the comments. Sorry, can’t get to wherever the plate is to access the serial number – hence the question.
Candy GVCD101BC condenser tumble dryer’s front felt filter came away after a few years of use. I guess the adhesive failed, and it ended up in the drum with the washing, now the machine won’t run.
Getting the dryer into position was an absolute nightmare. I’d have to get a couple of other people involved to get it out again, and it’s going to make a hell of a mess. Only the front is visible, the rest is boxed in.
So my question is, can I get in through the front alone? On your video, you take the back and top off, but that’s a full strip down… I only need to access the front of the drum where this felt filter glues around (already bought one, ready to go). Thanks. Mike.
Our Hoover HL C10DF-80 tumble dryer wasn’t able to always start on its own unless we helped spin the drum replaced the capacitor and now it’s running perfectly again. Ran it for 20 mins and the control panel lit up like a Christmas tree beeping error e08
The dryer is also cold, had no issues hearing prior to replacing capacitor so wondering if we’ve knocked out a wire or something or damaged something as we’ve taken it apart. One last try before I buy a new one. Household of 4 kids (Scottish weather) can’t get washing dry haha
Hi I have 4 years old hardly used Candy GVS C9DCG-80 condenser tumble dryer and now it shows E14 fault code.
Changed the motor, the heating element and front NTC sensor and still getting code. I’ve been told there’s a rear sensor??? Please help, thanks
