Hoover DYC 8913 B -80 tumble dryer Not Heating Thermal Fuse blown

Sir, Firstly, A Happy New Year and thank you for the excellent videos, which have been so helpful. A pint or two will definitely be on the way after this problem is finally resolved!
I now realise our dryer had two problems. Initially I replaced the thermal fuse mounted above the heater (left side) but it has now blown again. Sometimes the dryer failed to start with the buzzing sound which I have learnt from your video is a failed or failing condenser, so yesterday I ordered a replacement (7mf) and another thermal fuse from your eBay shop. I managed to carefully extract the defective condenser with the drum in place.
After discussions with my wife I understand that sometimes the dryer stops mid cycle, when hot, with the same buzzing sound, presumably when about to change direction. Error code, possibly E8 and/or flashing display occurred.
I have tested everything else I can reach with the exception of a temp sensor at the back in the ducting below the drum. I am reluctant to remove the drum incase I have a problem re-fitting the belt!
From the above, do you think it is possible that the replacement thermal fuses blew (after a couple of weeks) due to overheating when the drum failed to reverse and the heaters may have still been active?
Your advise will be very much appreciated
kind regards
Robert
