I have a Samsung DV80TA020TH/EU Heat Pump Tumble Dryer and when you start a cycle, you can hear a slight humming sound and clicks. The timer counts down like a cycle has started but there is no movement from the drum at all. I cant find a video anywhere for this sorry, any help?

the dryer is a hotpoint Ultima CDT80 reverse action the front panel screen has gone don’t know where. It was comming and going when on the machine worked.
This continued for some time, I had to leave it on for a short while the the screen came back and all was well.
It looks like it needs a new one would this be available economical and would it have to be programmed. Many thanks like the youtube info.

Hello. Wondering if you know where I could start. My mums Hoover VHC 681B Condenser Tumble Dryer has stopped working – when a cycle is selected I can see the heater element glow red but the drum doesn’t spin, the machine making a humming noise like the motor is jammed. I don’t suppose you have any experience with these machines and can guide me towards a repair video of yours? Any help appreciated. Kate.

Candy CS C10LF-80 condenser tumble dryer’s Drum is not turning.
I have diagnosed it to be the capacitor. Whats the easiest way to replace. The rear and side panels on this model is one piece an assembly diagram would help.

I have a Candy GVSH9A2DE-80 Tumble Dryer. Replaced the capacitor but issue is still there, when trying to spin the drum by hand it is stiff. Would I be correct in thinking it is most likely an issue with the motor. If I have the top off and give the drum a little help it will spin but often part way through the cycle it will stop and there will be noise coming from the dryer. The belt is intact and good condition
