Hotpoint SWMD9637UK Washing Machine Had F05 Pump Working But No Water Coming In

Hi my HOTPOINT – Ultima S-Line SWMD9637UK Washing Machine had fault F05, I had put items in to rinse and spin, yesterday did a wash ok. So found your video, cleared the bottom step one and viewed the pump spinning at the bottom of the machine. Water doesn’t seem to be coming in now. So I thought I’ll just check the pumping out was working, after I’d cleared out the waste pipe (that goes outside) – put water in the drum and all ok going into a bowl running clear too.
Would the fault F05 still cause the issue with water not coming in – tried fast wash and rinse/spin. But neither working. Didn’t want to leave it running on a programme which requires water to see if another fault came up.
Any guidance would be really appreciated. Thank you
