Hi Paul, I think the bearings have gone on this Bosch WFX2468GB/20 washing machine. Having read your comments about this being a difficult fix and fortunately having a backup machine available, I’m minded to “retire” it, it’s done sterling service over the years. Is there somewhere you can suggest for me to take it for recycling or shall I leave that to our local council centre to deal with? We’re based in West Yorkshire.

I put new bearings in a Hotpoint WMA machine a couple of months ago, but evidently the seal was not right and the bearings are failing due to the grease washing out of them.
