My wife noticed that the door seal has a hole in it , but after I took a look at the machine I found out the reason why the seal ripped. It was because i left a load of screws in my pocket and these had damaged the seal, but the machine was not emptying. I inspected the pump and found that a screw had smashed the blade in the pump. I am unsure how to remove the pump. Can you advise me on how to remove the pump and which sort of pump I require.

I am looking for 2 machines for myself. A washing machine and tumble dryer (condensing or heat pump) which have good reliability and arent too difficult to repair. Anti flood detection is a big plus.
If you have any recommendations for models of tumble dryer & washing machines you would recommend, i will keep an eye out for used ones.
This LG is under £100 and looks top of the line and not too old 2 years so thought it a good buy, unless there’s another brand/models you would recommend.
