HI I have a strange problem with my HOTPOINT H3D91GSUK condenser tumble dryer it’s a Hotpoint H3D91GSUK and the SN: 802418003153
The dryer is just around 12 months old and the problem I am experiencing is that the belt came off and was all chewed up on the side an engineer replaced it under warranty but it shortly did it again I have replaced the belt myself but noticed its perfect when the dryer rotates clockwise but when it rotates anticlockwise the belt moves over towards the front of the machine and hard up against the guide tensioner and the ribs of the belt skip over the motor groves so part of the belt is on the flat part of the motor shaft my suspicions are on the guide tensioner being at fault but it seems ok no wear or excessive play in the bearings any advise would be very welcomed as it makes no sense to me at this point lol

the dryer is a hotpoint Ultima CDT80 reverse action the front panel screen has gone don’t know where. It was comming and going when on the machine worked.
This continued for some time, I had to leave it on for a short while the the screen came back and all was well.
It looks like it needs a new one would this be available economical and would it have to be programmed. Many thanks like the youtube info.

Hi Paul, sorry to bother you. I have a Hotpoint NTM1192XBUK Heat Pump Tumble Dryer. Been going through your back catalogue of YouTube how to’s but can’t find anything on my issue. Initially thought problem was sump pump. Stripped and cleaned as per your recommendation. Pump works to move water (although seemingly only at beginning of cycle.) Dryer runs, but never warms up and load remains wet. Gets to 9 mins left but doesn’t end. Always been well maintained, filters cleaned virtually every load. Was fine until water full light started coming on. Cleaned and checked pump but following this I’ve got no heat now. I’m happy to dismantle but was hoping to put into auto test mode in demo, but button combination doesn’t seem to produce SEt? Any ideas very much appreciated. Happy to contribute to beer/wine/coffee fund.

I have a Hotpoint H2D71WUK Condenser Tumble Dryer. Tested start button for continuity and it seems ok. Timer appears to work as the condenser starts sometimes intermittently and will continue to work until I takd clothes out and then sometimes doesn’t start if I close the door. I’m thinking it may be interlocking mechanism but not sure. The catch on door seems ok. Not sure how to test the timer as I have multimeter. Hope you can help with solution.
