Paul, I have a Creda TVR2 dryer on which the rear bearing has worn out. It is the square type. I note that there is also a peardrop shape bearing on some models, which looks a bit more substantial. Is there any benefit in taking off the square bearing mounting plate (drill out pop rivets) and then fitting a peardrop bearing instead, or is this not possible. Thanks Ken
