Bauknecht TRA5470 beeps and filter light fault keep coming on

Machine runs properly for a few minutes the filter light flashes and beep starts; machine then continues to tumble but without heat; pressing start button gets it going again for a few more minutes. Sometimes everything is fine and machine completes the full cycle correctly – but mostly does not.

This sounds like you have a fault with the heating circuit. You need to take out the heating element and test it, also check the thermostats – there are two on the heating element and normally one on a vent tube front.
