I have a Beko B3T48231DW heat pump tumble dryer and i it is leaking water from the base and when opening the front panel where the evaporator is, This was full of water. The water is not getting to the rear collection tray where the pump is located. I fear the coil (s) are blocked and has blocked the drainage hole going to the pump area. Is this a full strip down with drum out?

Hi Joel sorry about your problem with the Beko B3T48231DW heat pump tumble dryer. The first thing you need to do is make sure the machine is level. This is very important for the water to flow correctly to the collection points.
Heat pump tumble dryers often have issues where the evaporator and condenser get blocked with fluff over time. Some of this fluff can also reach the pump, causing blockages that prevent it from transferring water to the top of the machine.
To check for problems, first, determine if the machine is pulling water from the bottom up to the container at the top. If it is, you can easily access the pump at the rear with just one Phillips head screw. There’s a high chance of a lint blockage inside, which you can clear to restore proper function to the hydraulic system.
If the machine is not pumping water up to the container, definitely check for a blockage at the rear where the pump system operates. It’s very common for these machines to get clogged up in that area.
I’ve come across many cases where so much fluff accumulates underneath the evaporator and condenser that it forms a thick, blanket-like layer.
