https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT6E3Jf83AE.Paul, I watched your youtube programme with interest and after watching it , i saw something in that video. i.e. a power meter , voltmeter and amp meter all in a neat trunking installation. the question i have is being a retired electrical engineer, i was impressed as to how you have integrated into the trunking. all i am interested is where to get this wattmeter so i can rig something similar. Hi Navin, thanks for your inquiry. You didn’t mention what is wrong with your tumble dryer, so I can’t help with that. However, if you want to set up a meter monitoring station to measure the dryer’s voltage and wattage, here’s what you can do.
First, go to your local electrical store and buy some cable trunking. Then, cut a hole to fit the insert meter. I’ve included an Amazon affiliate link for these meters. They are easy to use. You just need to connect the power wires from the socket to the meter so it can monitor the voltage and wattage correctly.
