Hello,The tumble dryer wasn’t producing heat so i stripped it down to find some wire on the compressor corroded and not connected to one of the terminals. I cleaned everything up and replaced the connectors but it’s stil not producing heat. I have also checked the capacitors and they are fine. I also checked the two NTC sensors and they are ok as well. Do you have any suggestions pleae? Thanks, Robbie

It may be that the compressor on your Beko DHR73431 Condenser Tumble Dryer is not running but here is a list of error codes that may help with your diagnosis

Error Codes Definition

Er 01 : Door has opened during Run Mode
Er 02 : Overflow switch error
Er 03 : Not Applicable
Er 04 : If the door NTC exceed its limit Copressor will stop for 5 min
Er 05 : If the Compressor NTC exceed its limits, Compressor will stop 4 minutes for
HP
Er 06 : Not Applicable
Er 07 : Not Applicable
Er 08 : If the Door NTC is open circuit.
Er 09 : If the Door NTC is short circuit.
Er 10 : If the Compressor NTC is open circuit.
Er 11 : If the Compressor NTC is short circuit.
Er 12 : If the humidity sensor drying programs reaches its maximum time limit.
These limits; Cottons and Synthetics are 300 minutes.
Er 13 : If the drum is empty. (Only beginning of sensor drying programs)
Er 14 : Low Voltage Error (Lower than 165V)
Er 15 : High Voltage Error (higher than 265V)
Er 16 : Start button pressed when the door is open.
Er 17 : Door is open during running.
Er 18 : Communication Error (Main board, Display board)
Er 19 : Program finished by customer.
Er 20 : Start/Stop button pressed during running.

Step 1: Press the end time setting selection and start/pause button at least 1 sec, then press the On/Off/Cancel button 3 seconds, these combination will start service test program. In this program start/pause button is used to pass other steps. When the service test starts, St:HP appears on the display. Buzzer sounds long. If the end time selection and start/pause buttons are pressed longer than 5 sec, service test program will not start even if on/off/cancel button is pressed.

Step 2: Start/pause button is pressed, product software version (“XA:YY”) appears on the display. The capacity and the energy class of the heat pump dryer can be mentioned by the software code. A=Normal system, E=Eco system (54cm HP and Super Eco compressor products) (e.g. 7E:50 means 7 kg A-50% (A++ Eco), 7A:63 means 7kg A-63% (A+++) energy class heat pump dryer)

Step 3: Start/pause button is pressed, all leds, segments on the display and around the program selection knob light for 500ms. appears on the display. Buzzer sounds

Step 4: Start / Pause button is pressed. The software version (ORION) of the mainboard (A:XX) appears on the display.

Step 5: Start/pause button is pressed, all leds, segments on the display and around the program selection knob light. appears on the display.

Step 6: Start / Pause button is pressed. The values of the compressor NTC (nt02) and door NTC (nt01) are shown on the display. If NTC and Voltage Error occurs, Err appears on the display and the service test cannot be passed to the next steps. Heat Pump Tumble Dryer 50 Sensitivity: Public

Step 7: Start/pause/cancel button is pressed. The compressor cooling fan activates, Fn On appears on the display. The fan should be controlled whether it suctions or not. When the FAN starts to run, the power consumption of the FAN motor is 20W-40W @ 230V A.C. (0,08A – 0,18A)

Step 8: Start/Pause button is pressed. The pump activates, and :On appears on the display for 500ms respectively. If the power socket of the overflow microswitch is not connected, the water tank led blinks for 500ms and Pu:nP, Pu:Er appears on the display respectively for 500ms. Buzzer sounds beep-beep and step can not be passed. When the power socket of the overflow microswitch is connected, water tank led disappears and Pu:On When the pump activates, the power consumption of the pump is 10W-20W @ 230V A.C. (0,04A 0,1A)

Step 9: Start / Pause button is pressed. Motor rotates clockwise and dr:rr appears on the display. Buzzer sound beep-beep and step can not be passed in first 3 sec. Service test can be passed to next step by pressing Start/Pause button. When the asynchronous motor rotates CW, it draws a current between 0,65A – 1,25A @ 230V; when the BLDC motor rotates CW, it draws a current between 0,65A – 1,45A @ 230V.

Step 10: Start / Pause button is pressed. Motor goes on rotating CW. appears on the display. Make the sensor short circuit by touching the sensor plate (As soon as the door is opened, motor stops and lamp lights). Buzzer sounds and appears on the display (buzzer sounds until step passed). The front door is closed(motor rotates CW and lamp goes out). Step can be passed by pressing Start/Pause button. (First 3 sec, Start/Pause is not detected, buzzer sounds beep-beep). If the value does not appear in the display for 10 sec., beep-beep. Lamp must be go out as soon as the door is closed. Important note: At

step 10, the sensor plate needs to be short circuited in 10 seconds, – display, below steps must be followed: 1. Dryer must be switched off and service test must be restarted. 2. If the same error is seen in second trial, a problem may be in humidity sensor cables and sockets. Please check humidity sensor cables and sockets. 3. A problem may be in humidity sensor. 4. If there is not a problem in above parts, a problem may be in main board.

Step 11: Start / Pause button is pressed. All the components are turned off and St:OP appears on the display. First 3 sec, Start/Pause is not detected, buzzer sounds beep-beep.

Step 12: Start / Pause button is pressed. hu:nd This is the open circuit control step of humidity sensors. Drum should be empty in that step in order to Heat Pump Tumble Dryer 52 Sensitivity: Public avoid to touch the sensor plates. If the humidity sensor is open circuit, So:on the display. Check the sensor if the sensor plates are open circuit. It cannot be passed to the next steps till the sensors are open circuit.

Step 13: Start/pause button is pressed. Motor stops, compressor starts to run, and CP:XX appears on the display. NTC value increases until the compressor NTC reaches its limit. Temprature rise may take 10-15 minutes long according to ambient temperature. The compressor of the models with the energy class of A+, S.Eco A+/A++ , 54cmHp A+/A++ stops when the compressor NTC temperature value reaches to . The compressor of the models with the energy class of A++ and A+++ stops when the compressor NTC temperature value reaches to 50 . Compressor counts during working. Without completion of compressor step, pressing Start/Pause button does not pass the step and buzzer sounds. When NTC shows desired value, compressor and timer stops, If the step is successful, Start/Pause button is pressed for the next step. When the compressor NTC value reaches the upper limit, on appears on the display. The compressor of the models with the energy class of A+ and A++ draws a current between 1,2A 2,5A @ 230V, and the compressor of the models with the energy class of A+++ draws a current between 1,0A 2,0A @ 230V.

Step 14: Start / Pause button is pressed. Motor rotates counter-clockwise (CCW) and dr:LL appears on the display. When the asynchronous motor rotates CCW, it draws a current between 0,65A – 1,2A @ 230V; when the BLDC motor rotates CCW, it draws a current between 0,65A – 1,45A @ 230V.

Step 15: Start / Pause button is pressed. The last 5 error messages are shown on the display respectively.

Step 16: Start / Pause button is pressed. The test program will be exited.
