Beko DTBP10001W Heat Pump Tumble Dryer Not Drying

Hello, I have a beko DTBP10001W heat pump tumble dryer, 6 years old. I watched your youtube video here, which was very helpful – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89itrIObARA and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoXVEv4XGzQ For mine – the clothes are not getting dry, after 8+ hours of use. The drum turns, the clothes seem warm (my wife thinks not as warm as before, but pretty warm still), the air seems to be circulating. I gather this could be either a refrigeration problem (would be difficult for me to replace), or the exchanger is full of dust. Given I can’t pull out the exchanger – how would I clean it? Welcome any other thoughts. Thanks

Based on the information about your Beko DTBP10001W heat pump dryer, the problem is likely a blockage caused by lint buildup in the evaporator, condensing coil, or ducting system. This is a common issue in poorly maintained heat pump dryers, preventing them from properly condensing moisture and leaving the inside of the drum humid.

Heat pump tumble dryers are known for being expensive and problematic. At a trade show in Berlin last year, I noticed manufacturers adding multiple filter systems to prevent fluff from reaching the condenser and evaporator due to this common problem.

To fix this, the entire machine must be disassembled for a thorough cleaning of both coils and the water drainage paths to the pump. I have included exploded diagrams and a service manual below to help you. You should be extremely careful not to damage the fragile refrigerant pipes during the repair. A complete cleaning should resolve the issue.
