Beko DTIKP71131W Heat Pump Tumble Dryer Not Drying

Hi. I contacted you weeks back regarding this problem without reply. I know you’re popular on the internet and therefore busy. Yesterday I bought myself a vented dryer as I can’t wait any longer to fix this Beko DTIKP71131W heat pump tumble dryer which was defluffed regularly. The problem remains, clothes are still damp, water isn’t collecting in the drawer and the fan (front bottom right) doesn’t spin. Not sure if this fan is thermostatically controlled or not. I’d like a reply as I’m still going to try to fix the Beko as it was nearly £549 and all the help Beko gave me was to say book a repair. I’ve fixed lots of appliances in my house without an engineer. If someone is handy with tools and has a bit of common sense then the repair manuals are simple to follow. I shouldn’t have to pay someone to do something I can do myself. Are their fault codes to pinpoint the fault? Is there a common problem? Many thanks. Paul.

Hi Paul, sorry to hear about your problem with Beko DTIKP71131W Heat Pump Tumble Dryer,

First of all sorry for the late reply. I’ve just been having a few weeks for myself driving back up from Africa heading to the UK to start videoing again anyway the first thing you’re gonna have to ascertain is whether the compressor is running as this is what generates the heat and cold that is needed for a heat pump tumble dryer to work. What I have managed to get you is the workshop manual and some wiring diagrams to assist you.

If the compressor is not kicking in then you may have a fault with a sensor just take your time to go through the workshop manual and I’ll be quite happy to help once you found a specific error code or if you can tell me if the compressor is running or not I will try to pull out some additional information from the technical centre to assist you.
