Beko OIF21300B Oven does not come on but power is present and ECB is not tripped. Fault was intermittent but is now always present. The oven would come on for a few minutes heating up and then cut out or the oven lamp would flicker briefly on startup and the cut out. I have taken oven out of enclosure and opened up back and top cover. 240 V is measured across internal side of terminal block. The thermostat switch opens and closes ok.The oven elements on top and at fan are not open circuit and continuity check ok.The thermal safety cut out switch continuity is ok.The fan winding checks ok on both fans. The digital timer display is working and I rest it before attempting to turn on the oven.the timer is on manual mode of operation. The oven function controller I have taken resistance reading across terminals while changing settings and opens and closes switch settings. That leaves the pcb of the timer module.I need a circuit diagram of the module PCB and a wiring layout for the oven to investigate further. Is there a relay involved?Any help or suggestions gratefully received.RegardsRoss

I will try and help with this problem about Beko OIF21300B Oven,

Hi Ross sorry to hear about the problem with your Beko OIF21300B Oven. Thanks a lot for your detailed explanation.

If your oven isn’t coming on, it might be an issue with the timer, the circuit board or the selector switch.

Since I don’t have your machine in front of me, I’ve included the wiring diagram and full workshop manual for your Beko oven. The manual has sections for diagnosing problems, testing procedures, and replacing faulty components.

You can also buy your Beko BBIFA12300AC Oven’s spare parts via this link.

I hope this helps you repair your cooker. Workshop manual also explains each fault or error in detail. It covers how to test and access each component. I’ve also included exploded diagrams and related videos on oven not working faults with Beko OIF21300B oven below that might help you.

If you need more help, feel free to contact us.

In the video, I mentioned about 5 common problems.;

  1. Oven will not heat because the element is faulty.
  2. Oven won’t heat because timer on manual.
  3. Oven won’t heat because of a fault with thermostat or selector switch.
  4. Oven not cooking evenly (one element faulty or fan not working correctly).
  5. Oven not reaching temperature normally an element but possible fan motor.

Coomon Problems with Electrical Ovens

  • The oven will not turn on

The first thing you need to check is that the oven timer is not on auto if it is, turn it on to manual.

  • No Heat in Oven

If the fan is running and the thermostat light comes on but you get no heat (or just the thermostat light on in non-fan ovens and cookers) then the probability is that the fan element or oven elements have failed.

  • Electricity trips (Rcd) when I turn the oven on or grill

This is normally an element that has gone to earth, This is a well-known fault with electric ovens, the insulation breaks down in the elements and trips the RCD , best way is to stick a meter on each element and check that they have not got earth leaks on them. But this can also be a wiring fault.

  • The grill element doesn’t work

This would usually indicate that the grill element is faulty. Check these: Grill element, Oven changeover switch, Overheat thermostat, Main oven thermostat, if used to regulate the grill temperature.

  • The oven fan is not working or spinning correctly (slow) or is noisy

The fan motor may need to be replaced see video on this also the cooling fan motor can cause same problems.

  • The oven overheats and burns everything

Normally this is a simple thermostat failure which would manifest itself as this symptom.

  • The oven or cooker cuts out after it’s been on for a while

This is an overheating problem which can be caused by the fan motor or main oven thermostat or a faulty safety thermostat that will be causing the problem. It can also be caused by a failure of the cooling fan, where fitted, but usually these go noisy before failing, Safety thermostats are used to prevent the oven or cooker overheating and will shut the oven down.
