I have beko wm74135 washing machine. Test on spin mode – door lock engages, pump runs for 8 seconds, nothing further.

Good morning Glen,
I’m sorry to hear about the problem with your washing machine. From the diagrams below, it seems there are two types of motors that might be fitted in your machine: a brush motor and an induction motor. If the drum isn’t rotating, it could be a motor issue or a control card problem if it’s the induction type.
I suggest you check the motor for carbon brushes. If it has them, remove and inspect both to ensure they have enough length. There’s a video below to guide you through this process. I’ve also included the workshop manual, which has wiring diagrams and test procedures for the motor.
If you have an induction motor, the circuit board might have failed. Inspect the board carefully for any blown components. If everything looks fine but the motor still doesn’t work, you may need to replace the entire circuit board.
I’ve attached exploded diagrams of your machine, including the wiring diagram. The numbers next to each component can help you find genuine part numbers at the bottom of the page, which you can click to search for availability.
