Good Afternoon, I’ve been watching your videos with keen interest. I have the Beko WMB71642W washing machine which isn’t always draining fully on first attempt. The drain pump had become noisy so have changed it for the second time now and am just wondering whether you have any advice, before my wife gets her way with buying a new machine? I was wondering whether it is the pressure switch or hose and just saw your disassembly video, so was just wondering whether a clog in the the drum where the pressure hose connects can be checked before replacing any more parts? Thanks in advance,Mark.

I will try and help with this problem about Beko WMB71642W Washing Machine,
Hi Mark t,hanks very much for your question. I’ve just received your message regarding your Beko WMB71642W and you mentioned you’re getting error codes 15 and 10 on the system. You’ve also said the machine was making noises from the pump, so you replaced it, but it’s still not draining properly. From your description, it’s draining very slowly or in some cases, not at all. Here’s what I recommend checking:
First, make sure the pump filter and all the hoses leading to the pump from the bottom of the drum (specifically, the sump hose) are completely clean. Some models have a little plastic ball in the sump hose be sure to check and clean that as well.
If the pump is running and the impeller is in good condition (not broken or loose), then the issue may be further downstream.
You didn’t mention how the waste hose is connected, but if it’s attached to a sink unit, it’s possible the sink fitting is restricting the water flow. This is a common issue and any blockage in the sink trap or hose can cause slow or failed draining.
To rule out restrictions, take the drain hose out of the sink fitting and place it directly into a bucket. Then, run a rinse cycle and observe the flow. If the water drains freely this way, then the issue is with the sink fitting, not the machine.
I’ll also include a link to all spare parts for your model in the video description.
