Hi paul I have a Beko WTB720E1W Washing Machine. The button works only if pressed in a certain way, the button is slightly wobbly but is in place.Can you advice and supply a replacement part?

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your question about your Beko washing machine and the issue with the buttons not selecting correctly on the display panel. You mentioned you have model number WTB720E1W. I’ve got the workshop manual, wiring diagram, and most importantly, the exploded diagrams of your machine to help you.
When you look at these exploded diagrams, you’ll find the display panel at the bottom of the page. There’s a reference number 1396 on a bank of switches. This part is plastic and connects to the circuit board. Often, this plastic piece breaks and doesn’t make good contact with the selector switch.
You can match it up at the bottom of the page to find the correct part or use the link at the top of the page. When taking apart the machine, use the workshop manual. I’ve also made many videos on Beko faults to assist you, available on the page as well.
First, remove the lid of the machine, then take off the facial panel completely. Be sure to photograph all wiring plugs attached to the circuit board because you’ll need to remove it to access this plastic bank of clips. Take your time removing the circuit board as there are many screws and clips holding it in place. Be careful not to break any plastic clips as they can become brittle.
Once you have removed it, you will be able to access the switch bank I mentioned. If it is broken, you can order a new part. I hope this information helps you.
