Hi I have a Beko WTB741R2A Washing Machine. I’m looking to possibly replace the motor and PCB board of this washing machine. From Saturday (21st Dec. ) it started tripping my electrical fuse box while running a “dark care” cycle. It completed the cycle but when I went to use it Sunday the machine would only fill with water and the drum would not spin. On further research I found it had an E11 error code and further research from your video on this code leads me to believe I require a new/second hand refurbished motor and the accompanying PCB Board as explained in your Video. Sorry to hear about the problem with your Beko WTB741R2A washing machine. I have some good news for you. I’ve found the workshop manual for your machine. This manual details how to test each component, includes the diagnostic sequence, wiring diagram, and self-test mode. It also explains each part of your machine.
Since you didn’t provide the PNC number, I got the general workshop manual. There are a few variations of this machine, which might use different motors or PCBs depending on your model. At the bottom of the page, you’ll find a link to spare parts and exploded diagrams.
If your motor has carbon brushes, check those first. If it doesn’t, there might be a separate circuit board driving the motor that could have a short. Test other components too to ensure there’s no earth leakage. The most common earth leakage problems in washing machines usually involve the heating system or the electronic filter in the top right-hand side. Make sure these are working well.
You can disconnect the appliance from the electronic filter to see if it’s causing the issue. You can also isolate the heating element to check if it’s tripping. If the machine still trips when the motor is needed, like at the start of a program or during a spin cycle, you likely have a fault with either the wiring, motor, or possibly the circuit board driving the motor.
The E11 fault points to a motor error. If your motor has carbon brushes, it would detect this problem automatically. Take your time going through the workshop manual as it has lots of useful information and testing procedures for all components. The wiring diagram will help you inspect for any damage or bad connectors.
Finding an electrical short can be tricky. I’ve added some helpful videos too, including one on intermittent electrical problems on our YouTube channel that’s worth watching.
I hope this information helps you diagnose and repair your machine. The exploded diagrams at the bottom of the page show reference numbers that match up with a full list of parts.
