Symptoms are the classic “worn out bushes” ones: fills and drains, clicks as though relays are being energized, but no turning. Manually turns freely. Replacing the brushes and capacitor has made no difference. Do you recommend changing the motor or calling in a pro?

This may be a fault on a circuit board,  if the carbon brushes were extremely worn out when you first change them then you may have caused damage to the circuit board. It might be more economical to call the Blomberg engineer in your area
