I will try and help with this problem about Bosch Classixx 6 WAE24363GB/05 Washing Machine
Good morning, Derek.
The easiest way to test this is by using a multimeter. There are two wires connected to the pump. Attach a probe to the live wire and the neutral wire. Then, put the machine on a test cycle. If you set it to spin, you should see 240 volts going to the pump at some point. This means power is reaching the pump.
If the machine still isn’t emptying, inspect the impeller on the pump. Check the sump hose for any small items of clothing that may be lodged and restricting water flow. If everything is clear and the pump is fine, the issue might be with the waste hose leading to the connection point for emptying the machine.
If your machine has a stanchion pipe, you can take the hose out and point it into a bucket during a spin cycle. You should see water coming out with good flow. If it’s connected to a sink unit, check for clogs in the fittings due to fat or other blockages over time.
If there’s no voltage going to the pump, it could be a wiring problem. Perform a continuity check on both wires to ensure there’s no metal fatigue breaking the internal connection within the plastic.
If all these checks are fine, there might be an issue with the circuit board, though this is rare. Inspect all wiring on the machine carefully because any breakage can disrupt power to the pump. Take your time and check all wires for metal fatigue, bad connections, or breaks.
I hope this helps you.
You might also want to bench test the pump. You can do this by using a hot lead to see if the pump rotates when voltage is supplied. I’ve included a couple of videos below that show how to do this and how to check for intermittent faults. I hope these videos help you understand how the machine works.
