I will try and help with this problem WFLI2440GB Washing Machine
If your washing machine is finishing the cycle after you have advanced it in the program then it sounds like the pump is okay, so this leads me to presume that one of the water valves may have become faulty, it is also a possibility that the heating element may have become open circuit therefore not heating the water so the program will no longer be able to advance the machine to the next stage. I have included a couple of videos below to assist you with the repair, when you find out which part is at fault then I will be able to assist you further , but please remember I will need the full model number to help you.
