Hi, I have a Candy CSO C8TBGB-80 Condenser Tumble Dryer.Replaced bearings after it became very noisy. Now it buzzes but does not start to turn drum. From some of your videos guessing it is capacitor. But would like to know which part to order and how to best work to replace.

Hi Donna, I’m sorry to hear about the problem with your Candy Condenser tumble dryer. You mentioned you have model number CSOC8TBGB-80. These tumble dryers need to be reassembled correctly after replacing the bearings.
Check the exploded diagram on this page. Look through the seven pages of components for your machine. On page five, you’ll understand how it fits together. The drum needs to align correctly with the front plate, which is part 706 in the diagram. The drum lip should also be supported by two pulley wheels, numbered 835.
First, remove the belt from the two jockey wheels on the motor so it becomes loose. These wheels are numbered 798 in the diagram. Once the belt is loose, you can turn the drum by hand. If the drum feels stiff, you may have assembled it incorrectly. Double-check your work because it could be misaligned on guides 706, or there might be pressure on the drum itself (part 202), or you might have misaligned the bearing system at the back (part 205). Make sure the drum turns freely.
If the drum turns freely and you hear a humming sound from the motor without any wiring issues, the capacitor might be faulty. You can test this by removing the belt from the tension wheels and seeing if the motor turns on its own when reassembled. If it doesn’t turn under load, you may need a new capacitor.
To ensure you have the correct capacitor size, identify it separately. In the diagram, it might be listed as part 156, but you need to check its size written on its side. The size is measured in microfarads and should be between 7 and 11 microfarads depending on your model.
