My candy GOC 580C-80 tumble dryer stopped working, no lights coming on so I changed the fuse and still nothing

I will try and help with this problem about Candy GOC 580C-80 Condenser Tumble Dryer,

Hi, thanks for your question about your Candy tumble dryer. However, you haven’t given much detail apart from changing the fuse. It’s hard to help without a good description of the fault.

If no lights are coming on at the front and you’ve changed the fuse in the plug, check that the power coming into the electrical filter on the top right-hand side is 240 volts (or 220 for Europe). This ensures that power is reaching the machine. From there, two wires run to the control panel at the front. Check the voltage there too.

If everything seems fine but there are still no lights, there might be a fault with the circuit board. I have a wiring diagram and some technical information for this machine but not a detailed workshop manual. Please double-check your work by taking off the lid and checking the voltage supply.
