CDA CD 9002/2 SS C9T0CD003X Cooker Fan Oven Element Broken
I watched your great video on replacing the fan oven element and want to test the current element with a multi meter as you showed. When I took the cover off I discovered that the element is retained by screws put through from behind rather than accessible from inside the oven. How can I best access behind the element? There is a metal cover on the back of my CDA CD 9002/2 SS C9T0CD003X cooker, assuming it comes off with the screws down either side, will that give direct access, or can the fan oven unit be removed to give access? If the latter, how easy is that to do? Many thanks.

I will try and help with this problem about CDA CD 9002/2 SS C9T0CD003X Cooker,
Hi Edward, I'm sorry you're having trouble changing the fan oven element on your CDA cooker. It's been a while since I worked on these, so please be patient.
First, you need to access the screws from the back of the cooker. However, you also have to remove the fan cover inside the oven to take out the element. If you remove the back of the cooker and look under the insulation, you might find the two screws you need. Some models have a plate that needs removing, but usually, you can just uncover the insulation and undo the screws.
I've included a link above for any spare parts you might need. Make sure to double-check your model number when ordering parts, as it's very important.
In addition, if you don't have a multimeter, you can buy a new one via our multimeter affiliate link.
