Machine starts then after a few minutes stops displays e08 fault code and all lights flashing

I will try and help with this problem Hoover DYC8913b-80 Tumble Dryer
Hi, if you have E08 showing on your tumble dryer display then this is to do with the heating system, the first thing I would check is the thermostats which are fitted on top of the heating system.
E08 on your dryer indicates the overheat thermostat on your machine has tripped.
I have included some videos below to assist you with this repair. Please make sure you vacuum clean the whole inside of the machine and all the ducts. Unplug the appliance, take the panel on the rear off and test the thermostats on the heater. If it’s tripped, you need a new heater. (thermostats aren’t available separately.) yet
You’ll also need to check why it tripped. Check the condenser isn’t blocked and the filter plus all ducting tubes.
Check the fans are ok and that there’s good airflow see a video on this below.
If there’s a problem there, then the new heater will trip the same way, unless you cure the problem first. Opening the door mid-cycle does not help either
Hope this helps
