Hi wondering if you could point me in the right direction. Our Hoover vented tumble dryer started acting up last night. Firstly it started beeping and all red lights flashing on the front. We left it unplugged over night. Today plugged it back in and select a program in the knob, it stands for 30seconds, then beeps all lights flash and the dryer kicks in without me even pressing start. We have no heat from the element. Could you advice on what to test. I’m a gas engineer so know how to test for continuity. Thanks for your time Ryan

I will try and help with this problem Hoover Vtv591cb Tumble dryer

this is a vented tumble dryer and therefore very easy to work on, you either have a problem with one of the thermostats with y’all located on top of the heating element, or it could be a problem with the forward NTC sensor or thermostat. if these old check out to be in good working order then you may have a problem with the relay on the circuit board we can supply the relays but I will need to know the number on the relay, but I suspect it will be a problem with one of the thermostats
