Hotpoint AQ113D697E Aqualtis Washing Machine Dial Not Working

Stuck on one program and will not start Machine has been getting noisier lately. And now stuck in one mode on the program dial. I suspect to start with main bearing to be the noise and needs replacing Would the vibration have upset the ecu ?

Hi, Nick after speaking to you on the phone I think the control panel that is built into the door may have a problem these are not cheap and it might be unrealistic to buy a new one as they are a hundred and thirty pounds, I have had to look on eBay to see if there were any second-hand ones but wasn’t able to find any. with regards to the noise, I thought it was the bearings in the drum but after hearing the machine I think you may have a loose concrete block, I have included a diagram below to show you where the two concrete blocks are located. but as you said it might not be economical to repair. but if you are looking for a new machine I do like the LG machines more than most as the build quality is a lot better
