Hotpoint FDYB 11011P Low rinse, low salt and start lights flashing.

Followed your youtube video (Amazing thank you) and removed motor. Measured impedance across heater and read 13.8 ohms. Then measured impedance at the heater terminal block – open circuit.There was a short circuit for the wire going to the heater from the terminal block marked with green paint. There was an open ciruit between the heater terminal and the side marked with red paint. Can you identify the problem? RegardsTerry Williams

Thank you for supplying the serial number your heating element that you need for your dishwasher there were two types fitted to this model of the machine and it is very important that you always use the serial number. I have included a video below to help you fit it
