Hi I have a Hotpoint WML 730 that won’t spin. The drum turns when it’s washing but doesn’t spin. There aren’t any fault lights however the spin light doesn’t light up either. Any ideas what it might be. Any suggestions would help. Please

Hi Michelle,

First things first you need to check the brushes on the motor its the most common fault.

If you have a welling motor then these are what you need if different come back to me with the motor type , I have included the video below for you to replace the old one’s they will show you how to remove and fit the new one’s.
