Indesit IWD7145S washing machine Lock light flashes when closed and will not wash

When I press start the wash light comes on green but the wash does not start. After a few seconds all the cycle lights come on green (apart from the end light) but it beeps and the lock light flashes red

Good morning this sounds like you may have a fault with the door interlock this is the most common part to fail, but on occasions it is possible that you may have a faulty printed circuit board.
