Will it damage the machine by giving hot water connection,Reason I’m asking don’t want to over stress heating Element & might I save some electricity That’s my guess as I’m not electrical engineer,Please advise me over,Much Obliged

Thank you for your question. Adding hot water to the washing machine doesn’t save you any money. It can cause problems because you wouldn’t be able to do a cool wash, and all rinses would be hot too.
Modern washing machines use much less water than they used to. So, the heating system doesn’t stay on as long. If you could get 20-degree water going into the machine all the time, it might help. But keeping your heating system running constantly to maintain this temperature is a waste of time.
Remember, the distance from the hot water tank to the washing machine might be several metres. The cold water in the pipes before it starts pumping hot water could nearly fill the machine. The only time it would help is if the water was always hot at the valve, saving energy.
Unfortunately, most manufacturers no longer make machines with both hot and cold fills. They also use less water, which can cause sludge build-up because washes are colder now. In my opinion, the amount of water used isn’t really helpful either.
