Oven not working, the grill and rings do work,light does not come on when turning nob on to the oven, many thanks..

this may be a problem with your selector switch, the reason why selector switches fail is

the selector switch must be turned on before the thermostat is turned on when you have finished cooking you must turn the thermostat off then turn the selector switch off. the reason why they become faulty is when you turn the selector switch with the thermostat on the load causes of arcking on the points inside the selector switch. and this will burn out the points or melt the cam
