Samsung RL38SBTB evaporator frosting up fridge not getting cold

i have used your brilliant videos to help me check the the NTS sensors and the thermal fuse, which are all fine. There is infinite resistance to the defrost element. I need to purchase a new defrost element for my fridge. Do you have one in stock?thanks for all your help.Liam

I will try to help you with your problem with your Samsung RL38SBTB fridge freezer

Hi Liam,

This is a very common problem on most no-frost or low-frost fridge freezers. I’ve listed the evaporator you need below. Unfortunately, Samsung only makes available the full evaporator assembly with sensors and gas pipes included and assembled as a unit. That would require professional equipment and knowledge to solder and fit. However, you could extract the defrost matrix from this kit and fit it to the pipework already on your fridge.

I’ve also included the exploded diagram of your fridge freezer to help you as much as possible, as replacing the evaporator is by no means an easy job.
