Samsung washing machine SW81ASP dE

My Samsung top load washing machine is showing “door” error even though the door closes properly.

DE is an error code relating to the door not operating correctly. This may be a problem with the door interlock switch, it may have failed or one of the wires may be not connected you will need to inspect this and make sure the switch is working correctly
