Samsung washing machine ww80j5413IW When the countdown comes to 11 min it flips back to 15 min repeatedly

Hi my Samsung washing machine ww80j5413IW 8KG model is ok on washing, but when spin 21 comes to 10 min left on the screen, it’s directing back to 15 min then it shows again 11 min left and then the same again saying 15 min left. Also, the drum stops only once when the motor starts. There are some 0 numbers on the board light. I cleaned all the pipes but still facing the same problem. I need to know what the problem is please. Thank you.

Hi Ali, it’s tricky to pinpoint the issue. Samsung washing machines stuck at the end of a programme could be due to a circuit board fault, motor fault, or the machine not draining within the allocated time. I suggest you make a video of the fault, upload it to YouTube, and send me the link so I can take a look. But for now, I’ll try to help based on your description.

Firstly, ensure the drum drains water within 30 seconds to a minute when the pump is on. If there’s no water left, it should allow the spin cycle. This is because the pressure switch isn’t detecting any water. If it’s not spinning due to a motor fault and has a direct drive motor, there might be an issue with the hall sensor, motor, or circuit board. Check all wiring for good connections between the motor, circuit board, and hall sensor.

I’ve made a video on hall sensors, but that might not be the problem as it’s sticking in the cycle. You could try running a diagnostic procedure to see if any error codes appear on the system. As mentioned earlier, uploading a video of the fault would help me better understand the issue.
