I have a Samsung WD80J6A10AW/EU washing machine and the app is reporting a motor issue. Stopping mid-cycle, drum rocking. Having looked at your youtube repair videos, I suspect a motor or hall sensor fault. Can you supply me with a price for these please?

It’s great that you’ve done some research, and you are absolutely on the right track. The 3C error code on these machines almost always points to a communication fault between the main control board (PCB) and the drive motor. The key components involved are indeed the motor itself and the hall sensor which tells the control board how the motor is spinning.
Based on your description of the machine stopping and the drum rocking, a faulty hall sensor or a problem within the motor are the most likely issues.
While I am happy to supply the parts directly, I would recommend you to do some diagnostics. The 3C error, while specific, can sometimes be caused by less obvious issues, such as:
- A loose or damaged wiring connection between the motor and the control board.
- A fault on the main control board (PCB) itself, which is misinterpreting the motor’s signals.
By performing a diagnostic check, you can use a multimeter and other tools to test each component individually (Here is the Amazon affiliate link for the multimeter). This will make you sure that you identify the exact point of failure before you purchase a spare part that may not be necessary. Sometimes, it’s a simple connection that can be repaired on the spot.
