Siemen Xlm 1600 washing machine Won’t spin

I put it on a spin it makes a noise, but water won’t drain… it gets some way through programme then it just starts beeping

If the machine is still full of water then you may have a blockage in the pump or possibly on the sump hose. If the machine is still full of clothes that are soaking wet then the machine may not have spun I suggest you check the carbon brushes in the motor.
