Our Siemens dishwasher wasn’t draining so I changed the drain pump for new one from Siemens but the dishwasher is not starting. I can hear a hum sound but no water is coming in. Model number is SE 64630GB/13. Any advise you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Drain hose seems fine. Is there a shut off valve that needs to be reset? many thanks. Ash

Hi Ash

The first thing you need to do is check that the water valve is on, as the humming noise you can hear may be the water valve trying to let water in. also check that you have fitted pump correctly as the humming noise might be also the motor jammed
