Smeg TR4110GR Dual Duel Range Cooker Fan Runs All The Time

Have Smeg tr4110gr cooker. Need to know how to remove the top have removed most of the screws from the rear but don’t know where the screws are at the front would be very helpful thanks

I will try and help with this problem about Smeg TR4110GR Dual Duel Range Cooker,

Hi Mr Wesley,

If your cooling fan is running all the time, it usually means there's an issue with the thermostat that controls it. I've found an exploded diagram of your machine for you. However, since I haven't worked on one recently, I can't recall exactly how to dismantle the whole appliance.

The diagram will show you where all the parts are located, with reference numbers on them. You might need to remove the gas burner to access it, but you could also try reaching the thermostat behind the rear panel. The thermostat is set to activate around 70 degrees. Its part number is 28636. This thermostat should turn the fan on when it heats up and off when it cools down. If it's faulty, the fan will keep running.
