My whirlpool (AWO/D 6129 – 8592 987 18000) stopped midway through a wash cycle. It had no lights on at all. I emptied it of washing and drained the water. I checked the filter – OK. I checked the pump was free to rotate – OK. I checked the water entry filter – OK. I checked the wash drawer – OK. I cannot perform a test mode sequence because I cannot get any lights on the control console.Have you any idea what has failed?

I will try and help with this problem…
good morning David,
if you have no power going to the control board we need to do some checks.
- the first thing you want to do is using a multimeter check that you have power coming into the machine at the back at the electrical filter this is normally located on the back right hand side after you have taken the lid of.
- the next thing you need to check if you have power is make sure that the live and neutral wire that come from the electrical filter to the control board has power at the control board.
- if you have power to the control board but no lights are coming on then I suspect you have a problem with the control board you will need to inspect it for any damage.
If you need any further assistance please feel free to contact me. all the best Paul.
