when i try the test mode all i get is a noisy pump and then the servive light comes on

I will try and help with this problem…
if your whirlpool awo/d4505 washing machine is not emptying then the machine will not spin, you need to check that the pump is working correctly because you say it is noisy you may have an item jammed in the pump or the propeller may be damaged, I have included a couple of videos below to help you check your pump and also a couple of videos on how to inspect the sump hose for any blockages.
if you find the pump is broken then you will need the long number off the identification plate this is normally cold an ERN number
