Whirlpool AWZ612 washing machine Error code E13

Washer/dryer display shows E13 when the program selector is turned from off to any program. What is at fault or can it be reset.Thank youRichard.

I will try and help with this problem with your Whirlpool AWZ612 washing machine

Hi, E13 error code is a door lock-related fault.
You need to check the door lock itself, I’ve included a video below also check the wiring to the lock and the control board
If you have a multimeter you can do a basic test on the door lock.
Remove it and disconnect the wires and there you will see 3 tags. With your meter test between the tags and you should get a continuity reading between 2 of the tags. If you don’t then the door lock is the fault here and will need to be replaced.
But you can only properly test locks with the right test equipment see the video.

I will need your full model number and also the ERN number to be able to find the right lock for your machine after speaking on the phone you gave me 8575913150000 and the lock for yours is listed below they have added screws now instead of the white clips
