I’m replacing my elements with the help of your fantastic videos. They are super and very clear. When I took the cover behind my Zanussi ZOP38903XD oven off, there were burn marks on the insulation by the element connectors, but where the light connections were, the burning on the plastic around the connection was really bad. Is this normal? I can attach photos if necessary. Thank you so much for your help. John. Ps. Can I buy the replacement elements from you?

I will try and help with this problem Zanussi ZOP38903XD Oven
Good morning, John. Sorry to hear about your problem with your Zanussi oven. It’s normal to see some burning on the insulation. This usually happens because the air passing over the insulation over the years contains fatty oil. This residue can build up on the insulation and might be what’s burning. The insulation itself is fire-retardant, so it can’t burn, but fatty residue on it can.
Without detailed pictures, I can’t advise much more. Most cookers that are 2 to 3 years old have this type of burning. It appears as a yellowy to black colour on the edges, where the fat is burning.
If you need new elements for your cooker, that’s no problem. I’ve put a link below to your model, but there are about 10 variations of the machine. You’ll need your full PNC number from the identification label to identify it correctly. It usually starts with 949 followed by 8 to 10 digits.
I hope this helps you. I’m sorry I couldn’t provide any workshop manuals or diagrams without the full PNC number. However, there are videos below to assist you in replacing any component.
the light fitting looks fine. This is only the insulation on the terminal connections they could do with replacing easy job. Make sure you use heat resistant ones.
This is normal around this area nothing to worry about
Again, when it comes to the fan of an element insulation burning, this is normal nothing to worry about.
