Zanussi ZWT71401WA Washer Dryer Clothes Are Hot & Wet After Drying Cycle

I have a problem with my Zanussi ZWT71401WA Washer Dryer. The error code I get after a drying cycle is E23 Drain. The condenser was dirty, I have removed this and cleaned it. I have run test program 9 for the dryer temperature probes, both working fine, plus it also runs low pressure water into the condensor at the same time. No errors. I noticed water dripping out the fan heater connection. Which I assume the air flow is picking up water and carrying it into the heater. I am currently running a drying cycle, the door is hot, low pressure water coming in the condensor. The fan heater joint is still dripping. The drain hose after the pump is full of water and the flow is just moving back and forth with the drum motion. I think there must be a level switch that is supposed to start the drain pump, if not what starts the drain pump?

Hi James, sorry to hear about the problem with your Zanussi ZWT71401WA Washer Dryer,

I’m away at the moment but from understanding what you’ve written in your email you may have a problem with either too much water going in on the drying cycle which runs down the condenser box. All the pump is not coming on when it should this means there would still be water in the drum. The pump normally runs for a few minutes and turns off and then engages again but my colleague has managed to get you the workshop manual which will go through all the drying process and the cycle.
