Test Mode Sequence
If you have problems with the drum not turning or spinning. Then check the carbon brushes in the motor first and test the motor separately before running this Diagnostic sequence as you could do damage to the PCB.
To enter test mode.
It is advisable that washing machine be switched off or at least 5 minutes prior to entering test mode
With the machine switched off shut the door and turn the dial to the 12 o'clock position. Now press and hold down the start/pause button and press the on/off on, while holding the start/pause button down for 3 seconds until the display shows a number or error code.
Now that you've entered the Diagnostic / test mode, remember every time you press the start/pause button this will be one advance the program to a new test.
- 1: All the the display or led’s will flash to check that they are working and door will now be locked.
- 2: Drum does a clockwise rotation.
- 3: Drum rotates anticlockwise rotation
- 4: Goes into spin mode on clockwise rotation make sure there are no clothes in machine before performing this test as washer will spin at its fastest rpm.
- 5: right hand water valve check
- 6: left hand water valve check
- 7: both water valve are now activated and all 3 compartments will have water flowing in.
- 6: This is the full wash and heat test. Machine will start to fill to the correct water level and continue to heat and wash.
- 7: the machine will empty. the pump should drain the water away.
- 8:After it has finished turn the machine off and on this will go back to normal mode.

Hi
How do I carry out a self test mode on a Beko WMB71233W
Thanks Dave
I’ve had code F13 on Beko WMB 81641 LC
I’ve tried doing the self diagnostic test. My washer skips the spin part but does all the rest.
When I turn it on normally to try and test it starts to fill and then drains and just keeps doing this, doesn’t go any further, any ideas before expensive repair from beko
Machine won’t do any thing stuck with the softener symbol and 00:16 tried all the resets and won’t do anything won’t even do a function test
Hi ive done the diagnostic test it shows 15 10 . It will not drain and makes a slight humming noisen .

My Beko WMC126W stopped spinning, looked in and belt was broke. Got new belt and replaced it (though having trouble keeping it on) and started to wash. Everything fine first spin, second started to squeal and then stopped spinning, and won’t spin. Would that be the brushes now and how can you check without removing the motor? I’d appreciate any help that can be suggested, thank you

WMB79127 ERROR E17 WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Beko WMB81241LB Main control module had blown components and burnt circuit board, DC control module did not look good. Fitted replacement main control module and DC control module. The machine would not start on any programme, the start indicator flashes continuously. the only thing that happens when the start/pause/cancel button is pressed is the degrees C indicator flashes off/on momentarily. holding the button in for 3-5 seconds changes the display to 0.00 from 0.39 with the start indicator flashing. during this time the door is locked but nothing else happens.
On entering Diagnostic/test Mode the display indicates error code E17 on releasing the start/pause/cancel button the display indicates all symbols, on pressing the start/pause/cancel button the display does not go into flashing mode but continues to be on steady, further pressing of the start/pause/cancel button does nothing at all. during this time the door is not locked.
I have checked the solenoid coils of the water valves and they both give a reading of approximately 3.5 K ohms.
I would appreciate any help you could give me to rectify this problem, i.e what to check for, or items to test/replace.
Kind Regards:- S.Burrows
