Wow, Paul’s creepy-cool psychic regarding our Bosch SHE6AP02UC dishwasher here in the US Pacific Northwest, half a planet away!

He said to inspect the filter sump carefully for a shard of broken glass just prior to the pump impeller.

There was one! Now how the heck did he know that!? :^D

Thanks also for the video on removing the pump impeller–extremely helpful and beautifully simply presented.

    Richard

Thanks very much for this great video, Paul! Just like lots of other people leaving comments, it let us fix our dishwasher ourselves. Two bits of glass, which we wouldn’t have spotted if we hadn’t dried out the well next to the impellor fan as you suggested and showed. We had the problem on Christmas Day so it was great to be able to fix the machine and clear the dinner dishes away.
Thanks again and enjoy the beer!

My Neff dishwasher displayed the E25 error code. I watched the video a few times and then successfully executed the repair. The culprit was a glass shard – identical to the one in the video. If that bit hadn’t been included, I doubt if I would have found the shard. Excellent video – well done. Beer dully paid for

    Hi Paul

Thank you for your instructional video. It was very useful and informative.

It helped us to get to the pump and to the other bits at the bottom of the unit. We checked the pump but that was fine, however in other forums people mentioned the circuit boards having faulty solder points. We took the circuit board out too and a quick visual check showed no problems but resoldered the relays on it anyway. We put everything back together and now it’s working fine again. So maybe it was the solder points or just a faulty connector but who knows….

Your video gave us quick access to everything and a good overview. Thanks mate, have a BIG beer on us!

Happy New Year from Wellington, NZ.

Such a great video – clear, measured and so helpful. Have just replaced the shredded belt on our Zanussi tumble drier; the most fiddly part was getting the circlip back on. I have donated a bottle for your drinks cabinet with my grateful thanks.

    Dear Paul,
Thanks to you! Your website helps a lot to avoid that valuable resources are treated as waste. Apart from saving people like me (family 3kids) same bugs that I happily invest elsewhere. I already had almost bought a new tool when I googled an found your video. Before I had already one of the platines repaired in a similar manner by a small company in Netherlands. when the drier failed again it took your video to realize that there is a second pcb that might just have died the same way as the first. So thanks for explaining the repair. I managed it at cost of 10 Euro, i.e. saved at least 250euro for an exchange board. Moreover your site should make it into TV one day, since it documents that these little defects are so widespread that they can hardly be coincidental. When I bought the resistor and link switch at CONRAD, a German electronics store, the shop assistent immediately new that I was about to repair a drier by Electrolux group.
I feel really fooled by the big companies like AEG that seem to intentionally include some buggy circuits to sell more tools. I’d wish this would become public as the Diesel engine fraud in German car industry. Your site might help that purpose. So your beer was well earned.
Thanks to you for your attitude!
    Best regards Jan

Thanks guys, I watched a few videos of how to change the element in our fan oven but yours was the only one that prepared me for the the Beko special-ness that required me to take the oven out, take the back off and unscrew the element from the back. Not a biggie but have a beer for getting it right where everyone else took the easy route. Having checked the element and found it’s dud I’ve just ordered a new one from you too. Keep up the good work. One last thing, any recommendations for replacement screws for the fan cover in a OIM22500XP, the ones that were there have not survived well (I guess that’s the pyrolytic function), 2 are re-useable but I had to drill out one and another is knackered, I only just managed to get it out in one piece.

    Hey Paul,
Thanks a lot for your videos. We extracted a bra wire from our Beko washing maching. It was stuck at the top of the tumble near the door seal.
    Enjoy your beer !
    Cheers

Thank you so much for the tip to opening my front loading washer! Admittedly, I didn’t have fishing line or wire but a telephone cable worked. No call to repairman needed and no waiting all day for him to show up. My husband is shocked I fixed it on my own.

Thanks Paul, I got Error 3E 3 weeks ago and i fixed it thanks to this video. The issue with my machine that the spring that is loaded in the carbon brushes were jamed and stopped one of the brushes from connecting to the comutator. after applying pressure onto the carbon brush releasing the blockage on the spring and it extended again. Since the motor was out I cleaned the comutator with Alcohol and dry paper towel. Fingers crossed and it worked like a charm.

Calling the technician to have a look was 70-100 dollars alone and if he replaced the brushes, another 30-40 dollars. This video saved me 100-130 dollars. Took about 3 hours of man hours since my washer was washer/Dryer stacked unit and pulling it out of the closet by myself was quite the feet.

This beer is on me, Cheers.

Took a gamble on buying a replacement dryer belt that needed replacing, to fit myself, but was putting off trying to replace it until I saw Paul’s video. The AEG model I have looked slightly different on the back and the motor was on the other side but the video and commentary made it easy enough to know what I was looking for and it only took 15 mins once I’d got the sides off already. Worth a beer in my opinion. Thanks.
