Diagnosing faults on washing machine Motors and testing them

On this page I will be showing you how to test washing machine motors, also adding wiring configuration for testing motors I will be updating it on a regular basis i will be adding new motor wiring configurations an additional videos as i make test rig wiring harness and will also show you how to make a motor controller

 

 

Most ACC washing machine Motors ( Sole - C.E.SET - Nidec) are either 6 pin 7 pin or 8 pin This normally means that they are have up to 4 Field  Windings 2 of the wires will be going to the tachometer which controls the motor RPM speed, another 2 wires will be going to the right and left carbon brush

These motors are normally used on makes like:

Candy, Falcon, Friac, Helkama, Hoover, Howden, Philco, Rosieres, Terzismo, Xperial, Zerowatt,
AEG, Arthur Martin, Electrolux, Elektro Helios, Faure, Fors, Franke, Husqvarna, Ikea, John Lewis, Juno, Nordland, Privileg, Rex, Rosenlew, Silentic, Tricity Bendix, Zanker, Zanussi, Zoppas,

Bosch washing machine is fitted to a wide range of machines listed below, Motors are either 6 pin, 7 pin, or 8 pin. This normally means that they have up to 4 Field  Windings 2 of the wires will be going to the tachometer which controls the motor RPM speed, another 2 wires will be going to the right and left carbon brush One of these wires normally go through a heat sink protection unit Something like a Klixon 15AM213A This is here to protect the motor if it ever got exceedingly hot,  this stops the motor Catching Fire.

These motors are normally used on makes like:

Balay, Bauknecht, Bosch, Constructa, Crolls, Daewoo, DeDietrich, Gaggenau, Hitachi, Koenic, Kuppersbusch, Laden, Lynx, Merker, Neff, Novamatic, Pitsos, Profilo, Schulthess, Siemens, Superser, Thomson, Viva, Whirlpool,

    good morning..i could you advise what’s the possible outcome to clear a F50 fault on a Miele W5740
    washer. manufactured Sep.2000 GUTERSLOH… i understand that’s a DRIVE fault .does that indicate an RPS ! needs replacing or could it also mean the PCB !
    .have tried reset but to no avail or maybe didn’t do the correct sequence !
