    Hi,

Thanks for a great video which I have been referring to over the past few months. I wonder if you could help me with my AEG Lavatherm protex plus dryer with the TC2 fascia.

A very small piece of paper got into the venting system which led to the non-resettable TOC tripping with an error code of E60. The dryer vents were very clean. Then again just a few months after when a small leaf entered the system (via the massive hole in the base’s corrugated plastic sheeting I suspect) the same thing happened again. I saw that the element that you vacuumed clean was covered in dust but my system appears to be ultra sensitive to any change in airflow.

I then downloaded the service manual to help me diagnose the problem.
I installed a new element this time the the error is E63. I cleared the error and set it into diagnostic in position C6. ELE was shown then E63 was shown on the display and the machine went into a test mode the machine heats but not sure if the error still exist.

Does my problem still exist? I thought that the test cycle would show an error code after it completes not at the start. It is making me a bit crazy. Any ideas on how to gain peace of mind that the problem has finally been fixed? Also do most tumble dryers have massive holes for debris to be sucked into the system? Should a tiny leaf trip the TOC?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am hoping to buy a washer and dryer set from a woman but thy dryer has a code of E66. Before I actually buy it, how much will it cost to fix this type error. and if it would cause any issues later. Thank You for your time.

I own a Electrolux tumble front loading dryer. It has had this E61 issue intermittently. Sometimes it happens minutes into a drying cycle, other times I can dry clothes with no issue. Model number is EDV114 Electrolux Sensor dry 11kg adaptive drying system model.

Is there a way to clear the code? Is the logic built into these like a ECU on a car where as long as the code is held it will continue to error?

    Thanks

My AEG tumble dryer does not fill container with water at all. After each drying cycle clothes are not completely dry, but container is absolutely empty. Tumble dryer is full of damp. It seems like mashine does generate heat, just maybe not enough.

    Hi,
I hope you and your family are well! Your videos are are well made, thank you!
My Hotpoint tumble dryer Aquarius TCL780 has drying, cool tumble and end cycle indicators on with all the other lights flashing. I am an electrician and have checked all the heating circuits and all is well. I have not checked the circuit board however. The videos mention a possible relay fault is quite common, so that will be my next target. Can you please tell me what other things I should be looking out for. I am currently not working at the moment due to poor health and money is tight; so any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
    Best wishes,

    Pat.
