Dishwasher still makes a noise but light 1 is now flashing and it will drain but won’t bring water in.

Doesn’t matter what program we chose, after a few seconds after you start it, the check water sign is on( not flashing). For a while if you stoped it and then turn it on, it worked ok but now has stoped working all together. The last time has sucked the water but it didn’t pumped it out. The evacuation pipe is clean. The water in the dishwasher is clean an the matrix looks clean. Please help me.

Hi Paul
This BALAY dishwasher was bought and installed in Portugal.
Had a problem with it not filling. So I changed the inlet valve. Machine filled once then after the first pump out did not refill to rinse. Machine now does not fill again and only a buzzing noise is heard as the timer clicks on without anything happening. Any ideas? I have contacted BALAY Portugal but they only sent me the spares diagram.

At the end of washing cycle on the display appears error 3 and the dishwasher stops working, at the bottom of the dishwasher remains dishwater.
Could you help me to identify the problem?

Thank you

Dishwater 18 months old – absolutely fine works great every time some times used twice per day. I loaded it and switched it on as usual and came back later heard it making a continuous beep with sound with LED flashing once but continuous and found that the dishwasher tablet was still in its compartment and no water was filling the machine – has not worked since – any ideas?

drain pump runs constantly. Does not fill. pumps even when door is open. Thank you for your help

Hello, how do I get to the back of my integrated dishwasher in order to replace a broken spring/string? The door keeps crashing down when we open it as it’s not controlled. thanks

Will not start

Appliance purchased in Nov 2005. Low mileage despite age. Trouble started with a full load of dirty dishes which I had to do by hand!On the normal cycle it now pumps out the water at the bottom of the compartment and then begins to refill after which it skips the washing and rinse cycles and the heater comes on and we finish up with dirty dry but warm dishes and a machine full of steam. I tried running the pump until there was only a cupfull in the filter, switching off and pouring a bottle of white vinegar into the filter. I restarted the machine on the normal cycle, it filled up with water and then the heat came on producing a vinegary steam. I switched off when leds 2 and 4 started flashing. It seems to me that if I need a new heater element the cost of labour and parts would suggest that I should replace the Hotpoint with a new modestly priced machine.

it is not washing bottom dishes.
Arm not rotating. Seems stuck in water only going to top arm. everything else seems ok. non fault codes. Thanks
